Wedding Advice
If you hand a mic to a well-meaning speaker with plenty of marriage wisdom—but absolutely no ability to say it right, you get Wedding Advice!
A fast-moving country romp of mangled clichés, questionable logic, and enough truth to make you think he might actually know what he's talking about.

[SPOKEN]
Look, I don't know wedding speeches...
but I know a thing or two about marriage, and I know 'em like the back of my head.
So listen up...
[Verse 1]
30 years of marriage taught me what to believe.
Marriage ain’t exactly rocket surgery...
You just have to learn to read between the tea leaves.
And NEVER forget your anniversary!
[Verse 2]
Experience comes from your biggest mistakes.
Those moments end up being funny to tell.
One day you’ll both laugh at decisions you make.
That’s the whole ball of wax in a nutshell.
[Chorus]
I may not always say things right,
But here's one thing that's always true...
After all is said and done...
There's nothing left, to say or do.
[spoken] ""Know what I mean?""
[Verse 3]
Remember not to judge your book by it's cover.
You need to read that stuff on the inside flap.
Compromise is six of one, a dozen of the other.
And if all else fails, just go take a nap.
[Verse 4]
Always be patient with--one another,
When one of you ain't the sharpest cookie in the jar.
Be two peas in the pot, best friends and lovers.
And you’ll have a much closer marriage by far.
[Chorus]
I may not always say things right,
But here's one thing that's always true...
After all is said and done...
There's nothing left, to say or do.
[spoken] ""Ya' got that?""
[BRIDGE]
Marriage is like a tantrum bicycle.
You both pedal hard in the same direction.
You make changes to your course little by little.
Working in tantrum helps dreams come to tuition.
[Chorus]
I may not always say things right,
But here's one thing that's always true...
After all is said and done...
There's nothing left, to say or do.
[spoken] ""Still with me?""
[Verse 6]
As partners you'll have some ups and some downs...
But you'll burn that bridge when you come to it.
Time wounds all heels, and calms things down…
So love one another... that’s the sum of it!
[Chorus]
I may not always say things right,
But here's one thing that's always true...
After all is said and done...
There's nothing left, to say or do.
[spoken] ""Understand?""
[quiet music]
[spoken]
So, if you remember just one thing I say... make it this...
Never, ever, take each other for granite...
