It just isn’t right to forget old friends, 

Let’s recall those for whom we once cared.

Tonight, let’s bring them to mind once again, 

and those long-ago times that we shared.

For the sake of those grand-old times, 

for the sake of times back then,

Let’s hoist our glasses and drink once more, 

and remember our dear old friends!

We’ll both get ourselves another drink, 

it hardly matters who pays,

And then we’ll share a kindhearted toast, 

and think back on those bygone days.
