A Gulf Coast yuletide anthem that swaps snow for palm trees, boat parades, and pure southern charm.

The food, the fireworks, and the festive fun of Biloxi are captured in this musical Christmas card.

Christmas in Biloxi

© Jim Molinelli

[Verse 1]

It’s Christmas on the bayou, and yet balmy breezes blow,

The palm trees wrapped in lights, the shrimp boats all aglow,

The festive decorations, a distinctly southern look.

This town’s a Christmas diamond, top 10 in Santa’s book.

[Chorus]

It’s Christmas in Biloxi, so let the good times roll,

The shrimp and grits so tasty, the gumbo warms your soul.

See “Christmas on the Bayou”, sing carols in The Square,

Come join in all the magic, maybe Santa will be there!

Though we have no snow to shovel, there's still so much to do,

Merry Christmas from Biloxi, from all of us to you!

[Verse 2]

The Gulfport Harbor sunsets, paint the sky with every hue,

The boat parades are magic, lights of yellow, green and blue.

Friends and families on their porches, telling stories new and old,

Sip on glasses full of sweet tea, as Christmas memories unfold.

[Verse 3]

Christmas lights dance on the water, fireworks light up the night,

As we dance beneath the stars, everything feels just right.

Friends, families, and neighbors, overflow with yuletide cheer

And a southern Christmas spirit, that we carry through the year.

Merry Christmas from Biloxi, from all of us to you!
